Purchase a License & Guiding Procedures
All Clients are required to show proof of New Mexico Fishing License and sign the High Desert Angler Guiding Co. Acknowledgement of Risk form that will be provided by your guide on the morning of your trip.
We ask that clients purchase their license no later than the night before their trip. Licenses can be purchased from the New Mexico Game and Fish website:
You can purchase a one day, five day or annual license depending on how much fishing you intend to do. Please make sure to save a screenshot of your license to each individuals phone. Your license will have a QR code and will display the dates that you purchased and your stamps. You must also purchase a "Habitat Stamp" and "Habitat Management Access Validation" stamp. Confirmation receipts are not valid fishing licenses.

You do not need to print your license, electronic copies of your license with stamps are valid and legal and accepted by New Mexico Game Wardens.
